Getting the Right Ring Size

Well... many ring shops do have free ring re-sizing service after you bought from them.
BUT it would be really good if you take the additional effort to get her a ring of the correct ring size. For me, personally, I think it's a must. I wouldn't want to risk too small a ring to fit her finger during the proposal, or too huge a ring that will actually fall when she actually swing her arms to hug me in a successful proposal. To me, ring re-sizing should be a last option.

THINGS TO KNOW before getting a ring
1. The ring finger is on the left hand forth finger.

2. Try to know what sort of ring she likes. (Clue: Look at her existing rings)
     E.g. single or multiple gems/crystal rings?(Single diamond rings are known as solitaire btw) Golden?
     Silvery? Matted? Thin? Fanciful? Elegant? Princessy? etc

3. Figure out if she wants to choose her own ring. If she is a perfectionist who would only accept an
    extremely specific design of ring that only she knows, bring her to the shop to get one. (I don't really like
    this idea as I personally feel that a proposal ring signifies a MAN's gift to a gal and the gesture of
    accepting it means that the gal is willing to spend the rest of her life with him) Try to "sense her out" as
    much as possible, discretely of course so you would know what she wants, it's for her anyway and I do
    believe as long as she is happy with it, it will be good.


HOW to get the ring size?
1. Get her girlfriends/sisters to go shopping and test out the ring size for you in a ring shop.
2. Getting her existing ring to the jewllery shop to test out the size
3. Getting a ring sizer and test it on her, however this can only happen if:
         ->You make her drunk
         ->She's a heavy sleeper
         ->Knock her out unconscious (just kiddin)

Useful Items:
-> Ring Sizers
-> Strong but odorless alcohol, I personally prefer Grey Goose Vodka.
-> Spy(this is not an item!!!) is a good to have. Whatever information you need can be obtained from
     him/her. If they don't know, it will be easy for them to find out. However, you have to take the risk that
     when more people knows about your plans, there will be a higher chance of information leaking.

Tips: Ring sizers bought online might not have accurate readings on them. It would be good to take the selected ring sizer down to the jeweller after you found a fitting one for her, to ask the shopkeeper for the size.
